Oficina is the Portuguese word for workshop. The Online Studio is an outstretched arm of Oficina's Studio & Art Gallery located in the city of Ponta Delgada, in São Miguel, the largest island of the archipelago of the Azores. Oficina showcases fine art made by emerging artists.

All works represented for sale on Oficina Online Studio are one-of-a-kind original artworks or original limited edition artworks, signed by their creators. We are: Helena Rocio Janeiro (collage); João Amado (collage); Loope (mixed media); Margarida Andrade (painting); Marija Toškovic (printmaking); Paulo Prata (photography); and, Susana Aleixo Lopes (mixed media).

My name is Leonor Almeida Pereira; I am these artists' host and also yours. After completing my degree in Fine Arts - Painting at the University of Évora, Portugal, in 2006, followed by a specialization in contemporary art studies at the University of Vigo, Spain, with a master's in 2008 and doctorate in 2014, I returned to São Miguel island, my birthplace, and since then I have been working as an independent art researcher, curator and artist. In 2018 I fully committed to Oficina.
